Data source(s) and notes about the submission:

HYDRATION STATIONS:
UCSB is in the process of installing an additional 45 hydration stations to refill water bottles free of charge for students across the campus. These units were funded (15) by The Coastal Fund, (22) by The Green Initiative Fund, (1) by the Environmental Affairs Board, and (8) by Student Affairs. The on-going maintenance is funded centrally by the Office of Sustainability. This project is part of a campaign to eliminate single use water bottles from the campus.

We have been installing waterless urinals for over a decade and are in the process of having our student interns do a fixture count. 100% of the urinals in our Resident Halls are waterless, as are those in Harder Stadium at Bren Hall. This totals approximately 120 units; we need to inventory the balance and plan to do so in late spring 2012.
