A brief description of the postconsumer food waste composting program:
Three of our dining units, South, Whitney and Buckley have eCorrect decomposer machines which convert food waste into a compost-like soil amendment. This is then used by the University landscaping services department in gardens around campus. Two additional dining halls will have eCorrects installed shortly.
