A brief description of the graduation pledge program:
“I pledge to explore and take into account the social and ecological consequences of my decisions and to use the knowledge I gain at UGA to improve quality of life for all in my community and beyond.”
The UGA Office of Sustainability encourages students to pursue healthy living on campus and beyond. The Green Graduation Pledge shows each signatory’s commitment to a sustainable lifestyle that has been fostered in the classroom and through extracurricular activities during their UGA experience.
