--Building service workers (300) participate in the Building Service Academy which includes training related to indoor environmental quality and waste reduction.
--Employees in the Grounds Dept. (200) participate in the Grounds Academy which includes training related to implementation and maintenance of stormwater controls and landscape best management practices.

The University of Georgia pays for membership, registration, and related travel expenses associated with sustainability-related organizations and professional development through conferences, webinars, networking, etc. Examples of these organizations include:
--AASHE (2 or more staff members and one or more students attend yearly conference)

--SESN (Southeast Campus Sustainability Network)
--Georgia Bike Summit
--CURC (College and University Recycling Coalition)
--GRC (Georgia Recycling Coalition)
--PLAN (Post Landfill Action Network)
