The Institute for Sustainability, Energy, and Environment hosts dedicated resource centers for scholars in sustainable energy and sustainable water fields. Part of this resource hub includes research assistantship opportunities for students looking to research sustainability in either of these two overarching topic areas.

The Institute for Sustainability, Energy and Environment issues a Request for Proposals each year. Two to three teams of researchers are selected for funding based on merit, potential for outside funding, and interdisciplinarity.
