A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):

The Office of sustainability has a resource table at the monthly staff and faculty orientation. 100% of new employees are required to attend. The emphasis of the booth is to register employees for EcoHawks, a sustainability group comprised of faculty, staff, and students that sponsor events and intiatives on campus. However, the representative has information on biking, the sustainability certificate program, recycling, and other relevant information.

Additionally, New employees receive training on diversity and diversity resources, disability resources, employee and labor relations, ethics in the workplace, wellness, and safety in the workplace.
