Institution is located in an area that is served by an existing farmers' market.
A "producer's only" market has been operating in downtown Lawrence since 1976, and is now operating three days a week for 31 weeks and also hosts a Farmer's Holiday market.
KU Dining designed and implemented a year round Farm to Cart program in one of the retail dining locations, offering locally grown/produced foods for sale to the campus community and guests.
