Does the institution have a trayless dining program in which trays are removed from or not available in dining halls?:
Yes

A brief description of the trayless dining program:

In Fall 2011, the University of Maryland opened a new dining hall, 251 North. Patrons of this dining hall are provided with plates to put their food on, which are deposited on a rotating carousel after they are done. This eliminates the need for trays.
