The Difference Makers was developed by The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and during the two day summer orientation, the Difference Makers challenge involved utilizing recyclable materials to solve problems. In collaboration with The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Office of Residence Life hosts a Difference Makers Living Learning Community for first-year students focused on creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation. Students have the opportunity to work together in small groups to create solutions for a variety of problems (many of which included sustainability) – on campus, locally and beyond.
