OS1 plan is being phased in from May 2009 through May 2013. Planet Blue Operations Teams began in Fall 2008 and will complete 120 buildings by summer of 2012.

A brief description of how the institution ensures compliance with sustainable building operation and maintenance guidelines and policies:

Planet Blue Operations teams engage building occupants through a series of events and on-line tools to educate them on program operation and maintenance of the buildings. The OS-1 teams go through extensive training for team members, work with occupants to ensure success, and routinely audit the work.
