A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
The Uncomfortable Dinner Party addresses issues of sustainability in food on this University of Minnesota campus, our community, and the world. Dinner guests learn how University Dining Services creates a comfortable atmosphere for discussions about food sustainability that often include competing interests over an enjoyable dinner crafted by our Head District Chef, Scott Pampuch.

Interest in and attendance of the Uncomfortable Dinner Parties continues to increase. The events are entering into their third year and conversations continue to advance at the dinner table and throughout our campus.
