A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:

2015 will mark the third year that the University will measure faculty and staff engagement utilizing a survey instrument developed in 2013. The survey's results are then utilized to develop specific action plans that address results. Participation rates to the survey are very strong with an overall rate of 57%(47% faculty, 60% staff) in 2013, growing 64% (53% faculty and 68% staff) in 2014.

Commitment and Dedication, Effective Environment, Engagement, Strengths and Opportunities, Commitment to Excellence, Confidence in Leaders, Development Opportunities, Respect and Recognition, Authority and Empowerment, Clear Expectations and Feedback, Collaboration, Support and Resources, Work Structure, and Process.

Reports are provided for every unit in the university of size minimum 10 employees. The Office of Human Resources also helps action plans to implement strategies necessary.
