A student was hired by UNB Sustainability to complete BOMA BESt audits on 11 different buildings on campus. The student compiled information, assisted with the auditing process, and submitted to receive final scores for each building. Additionally, the student was responsible for providing recommendations moving forward to increase the environmental efficiency and sustainability of the buildings on campus.

A graduate student worked as the university's Student Food Coordinator to work towards the development of a sustainable food plan for UNB's Fredericton campus. This plan includes partners, obstacles, and recommendations to enhance and ensure sustainability of food service in the future.

Students are hired every summer for an internship working with Financial Services on the Student Investment Fund. The students have worked on special projects in support of the management of the Trust & Endowment Fund, and have also worked for the Director of the Centre for Financial Studies on related activities.
