North Carolina General Statute 143-58.3 encourages State institutions to spend at least 50 percent of the total purchases for paper in a fiscal year on paper with recycled content. The University's standard for all office paper purchases is a minimum of 30 percent post-consumer recycled content. Purchasing Services monitors progress with quarterly performance reports.
