A brief summary of papers, guides, presentations, and other resources the institution has developed to share their sustainability experience with other institutions:

UNC Charlotte has shared presentations and information at quarterly meetings of the UNC Sustainability Alliance, biannual meetings of the Appalachian Energy Summit, and annual meeting of the Southeast Sustainability Network. In the last 3 years, we have shared information about energy and water conservation, alternative transportation, committee structure, campus as a living laboratory, research capacity, and student green fund management. In 2015, the University hosted 200 people for the mid-year meeting of the Appalachian Energy Summit.

The university belongs to the Sustainability Alliance of the University of North Carolina, a consortium of 17 campuses. Since 2012, the university has contributed to the Appalachian Energy Summit initiative, which includes UNC campuses plus private and public higher education partners in the region.

The Sustainability Officer is an active member of the Southeast Sustainability Network, a network that supports professional development, information sharing, and morale-building among university sustainability professionals in the southeastern U.S.A.
