The Environmental Center offers a competitive seed grant program, through which faculty members may propose teaching or research projects related to the environment, broadly construed. Faculty proposals for courses in sustainability-related topics have been funded through this avenue.


A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:

Seed Grants for up to $4,000 are available to faculty or teams of UNF personnel that include at least one tenure track faculty member. Grant funds may be used for faculty stipends, OPS wages for students, and allowable materials/expenses directly related to proposed project.
