All UNBC employees are part of a union or members of an association which negotiates with the University, terms and conditions of employment for their members including salary, extended health care, dental, life insurance, long term disability, pension plan and other benefits.

UNBC also requests in tenders that all persons in the employ of the successful bidder, or other persons doing or contracting to do the whole or any part of the Work herein provided for, shall, during the continuance of the Work, be paid such wages and remunerations as are generally accepted by the Provincial Government, pursuant to the "Employment Standards Act".

Vacation with Pay: comply with the regulations of the Employment Standards Act.

Unemployment Insurance: comply with the regulations of the Unemployment Insurance Commission of Canada.

Canada Pension Plan: comply with the regulations of the Canada Pension Plan.
