Does the institution provide secure bicycle storage (not including office space), shower facilities, and lockers for bicycle commuters?:
A brief description of the facilities for bicycle commuters:
We offer three types of secure bike storage.
Bike lockers: there are 19 bike lockers located at various locations throughout campus.
Health Sciences bike cage: A secure bike cage with card access is located in the Health Sciences Parkade that will accommodate about 75 bikes with room for expansion. Access to the showers is included.
Agriculture Parkade secure bike rack: The Agriculture Parkade has 10 bike racks which include video surveillance and a secure locking system.
Both graduate and undergraduate residences halls have bicycle storage in their basements. There are also public shower facilities suitable for bicycle commuters at the Physical Activity Complex (PAC), the Education Building and the Law Building.

There are bike racks outside all campus buildings and residence halls that are free of charge for short-term bike parking. Four newly constructed residence buildings and one older residence building have bicycle storage in the basement for student residents. Other long-term bike parking options include secure bike parking in the Agriculture Parkade, Health Science Parkade and bike lockers located at various locations throughout campus.

The University Traffic Bylaw Section 4 relates to bicycle accommodation on university property. The University permits cycling on all pathways, with guidelines as noted in the bylaw. Pathways are well connected within the campus and to a certain extent to city bike paths leading to campus. Although some streets adjacent to campus are challenging for cyclists, on campus cycling is safe and efficient.

Eco-Pass is a subsidized transit pass for employees (costs 40% less than a normal adult bus pass) which employees can apply to receive.

UPass is the student bus pass program at a cost of about 25% of the regular fare. Some students are exempted from this program, such as students that live in on-campus residences, have a disability parking pass, live outside city limits during the term, or are enrolled in distance education classes.

The university hosts the Enterprise Car Share program. Students and employees can become members and access vehicles an hourly basis at affordable rates.

Condensed work week options are dependent on the union involved. Employees in the University Employee's Union (CUPE Local 1975) can opt for an earned day off or alternate work schedules to allow a shortened work week every third week. Members of ASPA (Administrative and Supervisory Personnel Association) are eligible for flex time which allows some flexibility around work week length.
