This includes Individuals who have been historically underrepresented in specific disciplines along the dimensions of ethnicity and gender. Particular consideration is given to academically talented, newly enrolled, first-generation, multi-lingual students (particularly English & Spanish speaking), who demonstrate financial need and have overcome considerable obstacles and financial hardships in the pursuit of their post-secondary educational goals.
