Has the institution developed a bicycle plan?:
Yes

A brief description of the plan:

The 2001 UT Knoxville Campus Master Plan specified that bike paths will be established to limit conflicts with pedestrians and other vehicles.

The draft 2011 Campus Master Plan provides opportunities for converting roads to pedestrian/bike paths, and proposes a new pedestrian/bike bridge over Phillip Fulmer Way, a major road on campus.

Campus bicyclists will be able to easily connect to the City of Knoxville’s well-established greenway system. A bike path south of Neyland Stadium would connect Neyland Drive and Second Creek Greenway to the heart of campus.
