Beginning summer 2011, all regular full- and part-time UT Knoxville employees will be paid at or above the UT system's minimum wage of $8.50 per hour - that's $1 per hour more than the previous minimum wage offered by the university. In addition, all benefits eligible employees receive a competitive benefits package that constitutes sustainable total compensation.
The UT Compensation Advisory Board is conducting studies to determine how salaries for each campus in the UT system compare to the job market. The Board will recommend solutions if the salary gap is too wide.
