A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:

During orientation, new students are provided opportunities to learn about what organizations exist at the university. At the Student Activities Fair, all student organizations have a booth where they interact with and educate new students on their activities. This includes sustainability oriented student organizations. Information regarding the following sustainability initiatives are included: Zagster Bicycle Sharing program, the Zipcar Car Sharing program, Public Transportation options, the location of Car Charging stations, the LEED certification of campus buildings, the UT Dallas Community Garden program, and Earth Week programming.
