Information on cleaning and janitorial purchasing was compiled in summer of 2012, based on FY 2011 information. (Environmentally Preferable Purchasing at the University of Utah: Computers, Paper, and Chemicals - Matthew S. Boerke, graduate intern for Sustainability Office). At that time, the university would have received partial credit, but STARS requires that the information be within 3 years of submittal date.
We did not have the resources to follow through with data gathering, but we hope to introduce tracking systems for future purchases so that the information is readily available for our next STARS report.
