A brief description of the themed housing, including name(s) and descriptions of theme(s):

Sustainability is an attitude and intention toward informed decision making and continuous improvement that includes aspects of economy, efficiency, ecology, environmental impact, social equity, collaboration, health, restoration and a positive future. The Sustainable Living Community, located in LEED-certified and energy-efficient Poplar Hall, offers residents opportunities to explore environmental impact and social equity topics on individual, local and global scales in a vibrant, social community. Students in all majors are welcome, and the only requirements are curiosity and making a pledge to strive to live with a positive impact on others and the environment.
