A brief description of the program:

UW Business Diversity Program

The University of Washington Business Diversity Program seeks to connect the local small and diverse business community with procurement opportunities at the University.

The Business Diversity Program (BDP) is committed to ensuring that vendors, suppliers, service providers, consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors who serve the University reflect the diversity of the Washington state business community. The Program helps strengthen the economic development and viability of small, minority and women-owned businesses and helps to ensure that the University receives quality goods and services at competitive prices.

Outreach includes one-one meetings with local suppliers, attendance at regional summits and supplier shows. The Business Diversity Program partners closely with the University's Capital Project Office and Procurement Services.
