Does the institution offer a telecommute program for employees?:
A brief description of the program:
According to Human Resources, the University of Washington offers all it's employees an option to telecommute, as indicated by the policy below.
"University policy is to allow employees to telework when the employing department determines that teleworking will allow work to be performed effectively and productively."
UW Transportation Services recently partnered with Human Resources to develop training and tools to support telework and is in the process of establishing an online resource center to provide an all-encompassing place for telework support.
