Does the institution have sustainability-themed housing (residential floor or hall, or theme house) where residents learn about sustainability together and to which residents must apply?:
No

A brief description of the themed housing:

At the time of submitting this report, there was no sustainability-themed residential floors on-campus. However, in the fall of 2011, Western will be piloting an "Enviro Floor" at London Hall for the first time. Students will be able to request to live on this floor if they are placed in London Hall through the residence placement lottery.
The following is a description of the floor in the Residence Offer Book:

"Are you interested in environmental conservation? Do you support environmental causes? Do you incorporate sustainable consumption and living practices in your life? Do you speak about our natural environment and the sustainable management of our resources? The environmental floor will provide you with the opportunity to meet people who share your interests. Activities include learning about the state of the environment on-campus and in the London community, sustainability challenges, learning about 'green' careers, recycling challenges, and volunteer and service-learning opportunities with environmental organizations within London".
