A brief description of the event(s):

Throughout the year, various clubs organize conferences and speaker series to address sustainability issues. This past year, the Environment and Sustainability Society (ESS) in partnership with the Centre for Environment and Sustainability organized a Sustainability Forum. This forum, titled 'Local & Global Sustainability: Putting Theory into Practice' had six panelists with diverse backgrounds present their specific approaches to environmental sustainability that encompassed both local and global concepts.
As well, the Ivey Sustainability Initiatives Team presented 'Steering into the Storm' this year; a new annual conference centered on the themes of sustainability and leadership in business. The Conference featured the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson as the keynote speaker.
