The Global & Ecosystem Health Interest Group (GEHIG) promotes a broad understanding of health that includes the vitality & sustainability of the socio-economic, political and biological ecosystems which human communities are a part of. GEHIG's main projects include: (1) Speaker and discussion series (2) High school outreach (3) development of undergraduate medical curriculum resources (4) Assistance to students involved in international projects & (5) Fundraising and other forms of support for international aid agencies and initiatives.
