A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about employee commuting:

A survey was conducted in 2010 by Mary Quintana Lopez. In this survey 615 individuals answered the question "What mode of transportation do you use most often when traveling to and from campus. The answer options included: London Transit (Bus); driving own vehicle; riding in a vehicle with at least 1 other passenger; riding a bike; Walk, Jog, or Blade; or I live on campus.
