A brief description of the institution’s program(s) to encourage student research in sustainability:

Students have multiple opportunities for sustainability research through the Office of Sustainability at UW-Milwaukee. Recent programs include paid and/or for-credit regarding waste & recycling, campus forest preservation and enhancement, energy management, and community garden design. New opportunities are emerging through a partnership of the Office of Sustainability and the School of Architecture & Urban Planning.
