A brief description of the program(s), including positive outcomes during the previous three years:

The Winnebago Project was based on the AASHE faculty development model pioneered as the Ponderosa Project and Piedmont Project. Four faculty have recieved AASHE training and served as workshop leaders. Dozens of faculty have gone through the training and have developed courses based on the workshops.


A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:

The Winnebago Project includes a 2-day faculty development workshop and a monetary stipend upon proof that a course change has been made. For the first 2 years the stipend was $750 to reward early adopters. Later stipends were $500. Alumni from the Winnebago Project are also alerted to followup opportunities such as a brown bag discussion series.
