UW-Stout representatives sit on the Joint Sustainability Working Group with Dunn County and the City of Menomonie. UW-Stout also has representatives on the Dunn County Bicycling and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC), which advises the County Planning Commission. Additionally, UW-Stout's campus administration has advocated with the Wisconsin Department of Administration to provide incentives to the UW System campuses for energy efficiency and conservation, to keep the financial savings of these measures at the individual campus level.
