USU Ecoreps earn one course credit for peer-to-peer sustainability education. Classes usually meet every other week, focusing on learning about sustainable lifestyle choices from guest speakers and field trips. Time outside class involves teamwork to develop materials and engage peers in the residence halls on Logan campus in sustainability education. Students also have the opportunity to earn rent credit for campus housing.

Students contact the instructor for approval to sign up for the class.

Students meet every other week with time spent learning about behavior change and sustainable lifestyle choices in energy, food, waste and recycling, water, and transportation. The students develop lessons and materials to promote sustainable living.

The institution is providing the instructor time, class location, course credit, and an on-campus rent stipend for participants.
