Students elected to student government are given the opportunity to serve on the Board of Trusties committees.
Additionally all student body leaders (undergraduate student government and graduate student government) are represented on the University Council. The University Council is a collection of representative body leaders who meet with the University President, Provost and CFO four times a year.

University Staff Council leadership are invited to sit on the University Council. The University Council is a collection of representative body leaders who meet with the University President, Provost and CFO four times a year.

Faculty Congress leadership are invited to sit on the University Council. The University Council is a collection of representative body leaders who meet with the University President, Provost and CFO four times a year.

Faculty can serve on four of the Board committees: Academic Affairs, Investment, Stewardship, and Student Experience. Faculty recommendations are submitted by the Chair of the Faculty Congress to the President for consideration. Faculty selected are appointed to a one year term.

We have no written policy or procedure with regards to engaging external stakeholders. Villanova does engage with external stakeholders on projects that affect the community via public meetings, emails, presentations before local governing boards, etc.

Currently, staff are not represented on any of the 12 Board committees. These are 5 Board committees that are only open to Trustees, they include: Executive Committee, Executive Compensation, Audit & Risk, Finance, Trustee Committee.
