A brief description of steps taken to ensure that e-waste is recycled responsibly, workers’ basic safety is protected, and environmental standards are met:

All of the E-Waste on campus is collected by the recycling team. The E-Waste is stored in the surplus property warehouse until the certified E-Waste recycling company picks it up.


A brief description of the electronic waste recycling program for institution-generated materials:

Computers, hard drives, keyboards, monitors, fax machines, printers, scanners and microwaves can all be recycled through the E-Waste recycling program. Departments need to surplus these items prior to them be accepted for recycling and the recycling team will come and pick up the materials.


A brief description of the electronic waste recycling program for student-generated materials :

Student-generated materials are collected for free at E-Waste recycling events throughout the academic year.
