A brief description of the program(s), (s), including availability, participation levels, and specifics about discounts or subsidies offered (including pre-tax options):

The university offers shuttle programs that are free to students, faculty and staff. These programs include:

1. Two individual routes that transport students who live in apartment complexes within a 5-mile radius of campus to/from campus.

2. A shuttle transports students around campus and to/from off-campus/satellite lots and surrounding WFU buildings.

3. A special shuttle transports students on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings to downtown venues.

4. A shuttle that transports students to a shopping mall and restaurant on the weekends.

Wake Forest does not offer free or reduced-price city transit passes. The Winston-Salem transit system offers relatively limited options for Wake Forest commuters.
