Name or title of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
Subsidized Sustainable Feminine Hygiene Products

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:

Through a competitive mini-grant process, students won an award to run a program on campus about sustainable feminine hygiene products (THINX underwear and mooncups). Products were tested by self-selected students, and responses were shared at a panel discussion. Afterwards, students were able to purchase additional products that suited them at a reduced rate. These products are quite expensive, and students saved anywhere between $20-$30 per product purchased. A total of 47 students and 4 faculty/staff purchased products (with some people purchasing multiple products)
