Washington University contracts out its dining services to more than one vendor based on campus location. The approximate food percentage indicated above represents an average of the reported percentages on sustainable food purchased between the vendors.

Note: Our primary vendor stipulates a radius of 150 miles (versus 250)as a local guideline. Thus it is very possible that more of the budget is spent on locally grown foods, but no tracking system is as yet in place.
