Does the institution have an ongoing program or programs that offer incentives for faculty in multiple disciplines or departments to develop new sustainability courses and/or incorporate sustainability into existing courses?:
Yes

A brief description of the program(s), including positive outcomes during the previous three years (e.g. descriptions of new courses or course content resulting from the program):

In May 2017, Wells College offered the Finger Lakes Project sustainability curriculum development workshop. This workshop was supported through a grant from the Jephson Educational Trust, which enabled us to offer the program at very low cost ($25 for Wells campus community members; $100 for off-campus educators).

A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:

The low registration fee for and high quality of the workshop program offered were initial incentives for educators to participate.

Participants who successfully complete the Finger Lakes Project workshop are extended the additional opportunity to apply for mini-grant funding as a potential reward for demonstrating that they incorporated the workshop content and design principles into sustainability curriculum they developed for their institution. The mini-funding awards range from $250 to $1000. See mini-grant program guidelines document below for details.
