Wesleyan's Committee on Investor Responsibility created a resolution requesting that the Board of Directors of a holdings company develop policies that would minimize impacts on climate change and improve energy efficiency. The resolution was not submitted to the SEC because of a technicality. The CIR plans to pursue similar resolutions in the future.
