145,828.0 sf of space (Fauver Apartments (42504 sf), Bennet Hall (45307 sf), Allbritton Center (28802 sf), and Boger Hall, formerly 41 Wyllys (29215 sf)) were built using LEED NC. When the buildings received LEED NC certification, operations and maintenance information was turned over to the Assoc. Director of Facilities Management, specifying LEED-approved products and materials to be used going forward. The following buildings listed (only campus buildings with LEED certification) are being operated and maintained following these requirements.

Wesleyan's green building policy is in the process of being revised, but has not been accepted by the University administration at this time. The draft policy is designed to ensure compliance with sustainable building operation and maintenance guidelines and policies. Project specifications reference the green building policy and identify sustainable materials. These materials include water conserving features, insulation, vinyl siding, Energy Star double-glazed windows, and CFL or LED lighting fixtures.
