Does the institution have a bicycle-sharing program or participate in a local bicycle-sharing program?:
A brief description of the program:
Originated by a student-led initiative on campus, a collection of bikes left in surplus were rescued by the group, refurbished, and was the beginning of a program that still functions. Today this bike sharing program, Big Red Bikes, is housed in facilities management under the direction of the Office of Sustainability. Bikes are checked out weekly and maintained by student workers.
