A brief description of the institution’s indoor air quality program(s) (including information about regular auditing or monitoring, mechanisms for occupants to register complaints, and action plans):

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) is a term to describe the physical and chemical characteristics of air inside buildings with special concern for the impact on occupant health and comfort. WKU strives to promote a healthy indoor environment in which the surroundings contribute to productivity, comfort, and a sense of health and well-being. Faculty, staff, students and visitors submit an online Indoor Air Quality concern form which initiates an investigation by Environmental Health & Safety's Air Quality Specialist. Due karst topography, radon tests are conducted regularly in all buildings on campus.
