The commonwealth of Kentucky requires state supported institutions to purchase 30% minimum recycled paper, so all paper purchased for use at WKU is 30% recycled content at minimum. Various departments or offices take this further by purchasing higher recycled content.

Paper purchases are made through the purchasing department, with 30% recycled content as default.
