Does the institution offer at least one immersive, sustainability-focused educational study program that is one week or more in length?:
Yes

A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution, including how each program addresses the social, economic, and environmental dimensions of sustainability:

WKU offers many study abroad experiences that incorporate sustainability. For example, a study abroad to Peru focuses on rain forest ecology and issues of resource exploitation and habitat destruction. A study abroad to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands focuses on species extinction due to human impacts and behaviors. A study abroad to Africa focuses on issues of habitat degradation, resource exploitation, and place-based conservation efforts that engage the local community. Additionally, WKU has created a themed residence occupied by up to 10 undergraduate and graduate students. The $100 Solution House offers space and community to support place-based problem solving and idea creation and implementation.
