WWU's beverage vending machines are Energy Star compliant per the expectation in the RFP. The snack machines only draw power for lighting and have LED lighting to reduce that cost. Neither machine use the “vend misers motion detecting technology” because those devices cause problems with credit card acceptor circuitry.
