A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive experience(s) offered by the institution:

The School or Forestry and Environmental Studies requires all incoming Master's students to attend three week-long summer training modules in August. The summer "mods" develop students' skills associated with land measurement, mapping, geographical information systems, plant identification and urban issues and ecosystem analysis. Students spend a weak in each of New Haven, the Yale-Myers working Forest and Great Mountain Forest.
