Sustainability Leaders are a group of Yale staff members interested in sustainability. Sustainability Leaders attend monthly lunches hosted by the Office of Sustainability featuring a speaker and dialogue around various topics. Leaders are encouraged to create Green Teams in their departments to build capacity. Leaders also receive the Office of Sustainability's electronic monthly outreach campaigns, which they then share with their units and departments more broadly.

Sustainability Leaders are volunteers interested in sustainability. All Yale employees are invited to participate in this volunteer program via emails, newsletters, announcements
and other media.
A brief description of the formal training that the employee educators receive to prepare them to conduct peer outreach:
The Office of Sustainability brings speakers from within and outside of the University to inform sustainability leaders on topics related to the Sustainability Strategic Plan. These meetings are both instructional and an opportunity to share questions and resources through a peer network.
A brief description of the financial and/or administrative support the institution provides to the program (e.g. annual budget and/or paid faculty/staff coordination):
The Office of Sustainability provides a monthly lunch to participants and the Office Manager coordinates monthly activities.
