CDS
The Centre for Disability Services provides a range of services, including personal counselling, group development workshops, learning skills training, support and academic accommodation for students with learning, mental health, physical, sensory and medical disabilities.

CAS
York University supports and encourages First Nations, Inuit and Métis students and all who are interested in Aboriginal issues and services at the university. The Centre for Aboriginal Student Services supports provides culturally-appropriate support services to the Aboriginal student population, including information about educational assistance, funding procedures and guidelines, education and awareness regarding Aboriginal culture, issues and services to all students, faculty and staff, and liaising with First Nation communities and Aboriginal communities including the provision of referrals to on and off-campus resources.

YFS
The York Federation of Students (YFS) is an autonomous students union that provides cost saving services, events, campaigns and equity programming for students at York University. YFS works to empower and support students on campus to take action against discrimination and injustice both on campus and in society, through anti-oppression training, equity resources and social justice events throughout the year. YFS recognizes that groups among its membership are marginalized on campus and within society. In order to combat and eradicate inequities, the YFS has created five community service groups. These equity seeking organizations provide resources and services in the hopes of providing space for marginalized groups to organize on campus and work to combat marginalization on campus and in society. The community service groups are comprised of the YFS Access Center, The Aboriginal Students Association at York (ASAY), Trans Bisexual Lesbian Gay Allies at York (TBLGAY), York United Black Students' Alliance (YUBSA), and the United South Asians at York (USAY).

CHR
The Centre for Human Rights at York offers many services and programs which support underrepresented groups on campus. The York University Respect, Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity (REDI) Tutorial is developed to introduce the York community to institutional values and expectations, with the goal of fostering an Inclusive campus. SexGen York, Centre for Human Rights and Centre for the Support for Teachers host Positive Space Training Sessions. These sessions are open to faculty, staff and students. The Positive Space Program supports the growth, freedom, and expression of all members of the York community who embrace a diverse sexual orientation or gender identity. The Diversity Peer Education Team (DPET) is a volunteer based team run by York University's Centre for Human Rights. have the opportunity to engage critically with a wide variety of human rights, social justice, and diversity related topics, trainings and events.

York University has approved multiple policies that define multiple forms of discrimination and harassment, and outlines possible sanctions. These policies encompass discrimination based on colour, race, religion, ethnic origin, gender, or sexual orientation.
